Kick-off event on 19.10.2023
Our school children, together with other schools that are also committed to preventing climate change, met with the district mayor Maren Schellenberg at the kick-off event ‘Jetzt kliqt’s 2.0’ on 19.10.23 at Mühlenau-GS. There, the schoolchildren presented their climate change prevention projects.
Quentin Blake GS is well known in the area for having ESOs (Energy Saving Officers) throughout the school to ensure that we save energy, always separate waste and recycle our paper.
The Year 6 children presented their energy-saving project and were able to find out more about what is going on in other schools in the area in a friendly exchange of information.
