INTEGRATION DEPARTMENT
Integration is the promotion of individual behaviors and personal characteristics within a group.
Unfortunately, it is widespread in society that with the term of integration we think of special schools or that the kid is already marked with certain prejudices. This does not correspond to our goal of integration. For us, integration begins where the participation in school life is at risk, or children need more support with the challenges of everyday life.
A valid after-school care contract is required to implement an application for an increased, significantly increased or even substantially increased need for educational assistance. To determine such a need, it requires a holistic view of the child, by all professions. Accordingly, cooperation between the caregiver, teaching staff, integration staff, parents and other educational institutions is essential.

OUR CARRIER

In order to provide our students and families with additional childcare services, we work together with an independent child and youth welfare organization. This carrier is responsible for the educators, hires them and coordinates their work at our school. Each class in grades one to three of our school has a reference teacher who takes care of the special needs of the children in that class. The educators are also responsible for the teaching unit ‘UeA’, which means ‘unterrichtsergänzendes Angebot’ (supplementary offer). Here the needs of the class are addressed and/or projects are worked on that were designed to accompany the lessons.
