The weather played a trick on us for the first time, so that the 25th FunRun could then finally take place on 05.5.2023. We again created a colorful day for the school community. In the morning, together with the Biesalski School, there was a sports and games festival for the children. All classes prepared and supervised game booths. Among the 20 different games, there was again a colorful mix of moving offerings. The final highlight of the school day was the line-up for the joint school photo. All pupils were placed on the large letters FREEDOM on the sports field. A drone took great pictures. The result is impressive.
The sunscreen was ready, water supplies were filled, the children changed, parents held the cameras ready. Our 25th FunRun started promptly at 2:30 p.m. and the classes went to the starting line one after the other. Culinary delights were provided to all by the class stalls magnificently organized by the parents. The runners followed the rhythmic sound of the trash drums. Running, music and a colorful stage program alternated.
The incredibly enriching diversity of our school and our school campus with the Biesalski School celebrated what we have in common in the usual warm and open-hearted setting of the school community – our children. They were the center of attention, on stage and on the run. We thank you very much for your joy, your enthusiasm, your sweat, your ideas, your support, your perseverance!

All of this could only come about through diversity in the commonality of families, friends, colleagues and children, and could only be made possible through a WE.
That was AMAZING !!!!!!!
… and… the money raised will be invested in further exercise facilities and a sunshade for the schoolyard.
