The Erasmus+ program has been an integral part of Quentin Blake Primary School since 2018.

Since 2022, we have been an accredited school in the area of school education in the funding period until 2027, together with Dreilinden High School and in the future with Biesalski School. An incredible financial support will enable many international encounters of students and colleagues in the next years and thus a professional and cultural exchange. We are extremely happy about this.

An important part of the project is an Erasmus+ group established at the school. Pupils from different classes meet weekly in the Erasmus+ group. There they work on European content, socially relevant topics and organisational aspects for the school and the project. The AG children are our Erasmus+ ambassadors at school, present the school to international guests and will continue to bring the European idea and related values to the school community through various activities and projects. Since 2018, we have been working with partner schools from various countries, including Wales, France, Romania, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Ireland and Denmark. We are very happy about the diverse cooperation with the Dreilinden-Gymnasium. This school year we will travel with pupils from both schools to Capbreton / France to our French partner school.

But further training, e.g. in the area of dyslexia, is also financed by the project funds.

We are looking forward to all the meetings and fun-creative hours still to come at the school. We hope to give many students the opportunity for active exchange. European education should encourage our children to see themselves as part of an international society.
