WANTED: Parental leave replacement for the secretary’s office

Temporary position in the secretary’s office starting in August 2026

The school secretary, Mr Chellouche-Köppen, will be taking parental leave for approximately one year starting in August 2026. Discussions have now been held with the relevant organisers, and the application situation for such positions is very poor.

That is why we are now taking action ourselves:
Starting in August 2026, we are looking for someone, ideally with relevant experience, who would like to apply for a one-year position through the Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family Affairs. Very often, fixed-term contracts lead to permanent employment! Many school secretariats in Berlin are currently looking for additional staff.

The school office is the first point of contact for visitors and for children who have minor or major problems. This is where pupil files are updated and numerous lists have to be kept.

The application process and all arrangements are not organised by the school. This is done centrally by the Senate Administration. Nevertheless, we are happy to help if you are interested in our position and have any questions about the application process.
