On the Friday before the Easter holidays, our traditional penalty box volleyball tournament took place again. The atmosphere in the Cole Sports Centre was great from the first to the last minute. The 3rd, 4th, 5. and year 6 pupils from Quentin Blake School were joined by a team from Biesalski School. In many fair but also hard-fought games, we were able to crown class 4.3 as the fairest team of the tournament and proudly present them with the Fair Play trophy. At the end, places 1-3 were honoured with medals. Good music and a supportive audience brought the whole hall to life, and the rain of sweets delighted young and old alike.
We are already looking forward to next year’s spectacle!
