The competition for Years 1 and 2 began at 8.00 am whilst the temperatures were still pleasant; Years 3 and 4 followed at 10.00 am. The children were in good shape and put in a strong team performance at the four stations (turn sprint, throwing window, zone jump and run). There was loud cheering and plenty of mutual support. The helper pupils from Years 5 and 6 did a brilliant job and took on a lot of responsibility.
For Years 5 and 6, it would have become too hot from 12.00 onwards.
It was a truly cheerful and lively day. We’re excited to see which classes came out on top 😉
Many thanks to all my colleagues who helped out!
